Description
The Huuliensis Cave Gecko (Goniurosaurus huuliensis) is a tiny gecko found in Mongolia’s Huuliin Daichin mountain range. They are generally nocturnal and have evolved to live in caves and rocky outcrops where they may blend in with their surroundings.
In the wild, Huuliensis Cave Geckos eat mostly different types of insects and other tiny invertebrates. They can be kept as pets in captivity by knowledgeable reptile keepers who can give them the particular care they need. They require a terrarium with the right temperature and humidity, a substrate that replicates their native habitat, and a variety of insects and other invertebrates in their diet.
Like many gecko species, Huuliensis Cave Geckos are susceptible to environmental changes, therefore it’s crucial to give them a regular and stable home environment. They may also be reserved and need some time to become used to their new surroundings. Huuliensis Cave Geckos, however, can make fascinating and satisfying pets for knowledgeable reptile aficionados with the right care and attention.
