Axanthic Het Albino Hognose Snake for sale (Heterodon nasicus) is a Western Hognose Snake with one copy of the Albino gene and one copy of the Axanthic gene, however only the Albino gene is visible in its colour. Because of the Albino gene’s lack of melanin pigment, this snake will have white or yellow scales and red eyes, but it will not have the gray, silver, or black scales that the Axanthic gene produces.

Native to North America, Western hognose snakes are small and non-venomous snakes. The way they pretend dead when confronted and their upturned snouts are well-known characteristics. Small rodents and amphibians are their main sources of food. A proper habitat with ideal heat, humidity, and hiding spaces is necessary for axanthic Het Albino Hognose Snakes.
