Description
Gray Banded Kingsnake for sale, sometimes known as the Sonoran Kingsnake, is a non-venomous colubrid snake found in the southwestern United States and northwest Mexico. They vary in color and pattern, but are usually black with white or yellow bands. The bands might be large or small, with black or gray borders.
Gray Banded Kingsnakes are modest, with average lengths of 2-3 feet (0.6-0.9 meters). They are mostly active during the day and prey on lizards, snakes, and rodents. They can be found in a range of settings in the wild, including rocky hillsides, desert scrub, and grasslands.
Gray Banded Kingsnakes need a suitable cage in captivity that has the right temperature, humidity, and hiding spots. A diversified diet of rats or lizards of the proper size is also required by the critters. They make excellent pets for knowledgeable snake keepers because they are typically hardy and simple to care for.
It’s important to note that the deadly Coral Snake, which has a similar red, yellow, and black banding pattern, can occasionally be mistaken for gray banded kingsnakes. However, there is a proverb that can be used to tell them apart: “Red on yellow, murder a fellow. “Red on black, Jack’s friend.” There is no red band on the gray banded king snake.
