Description

West Indian leopard gecko for sale (Eublepharis fuscus) which is a leopard gecko species found in western India, with a possible range extension to southeastern Pakistan. The particular name “fuscus” means “dark.” It has a robust habitus and can reach 252 mm (9.9 in) in snout–vent length.

The gecko is found throughout western India, including the Western Ghats (northern Karnataka and parts of Maharashtra) and Gujarat. It could happen in Pakistan. It can be found in brush, rocks, scrubland, and forested hill tracts. It is a terrestrial gecko that only feeds at night and consumes scorpions and other arthropods.

It mostly eats arthropods, although it also occasionally consumes tiny vertebrates. Because they are so aggressive, children may scream or make noises similar to grinding. They simultaneously stand up on all four paws and lunge sharply in the direction of the adversary. Adults can bite and exhibit this behavior sometimes. When these animals have no other way to flee a potential attack, autotomia (losing a tail) is frequently reported. They can emit excrements and wrap their tail around the arms of the person who took them with a sharp, rough capture (mainly wild people).
