Description
Albino Darwin Carpet Python has a medium-sized body and a board head that is substantially wider than its neck. The Albino Carpet Python has no black or brown pigmentation. Albion snakes are those that lack melanin and are usually white with red or yellow patterns. The red patterns are created by additional pigment cells found in the animal’s skin. Albino Carpet Pythons have red or pink eyes as well. This gives them a distinct appearance, making them quite popular among reptile enthusiasts. There are several forms of albinism, which can be identified by their origins.
This subspecies of Carpet Python is found in the Kimberley region of Western Australia through the top-end of the Northern Territory. Although the lifetime of many reptiles has not been thoroughly examined, the majority of python species are thought to live into their 20s or 30s. The average length of the Albino Darwin Carpet Python is 2 metres. They diet on Mammals, birds and lizards. Carpet Pythons dwell in a wide range of environments, including sandstone escarpments, gorges, woodland savannah, gallery, and Sclerophyll forests.
