The Solomon Island Banded Palm Gecko (Paroedura bastardi), sometimes known as the New Caledonian Banded Gecko, is a small species of gecko native to New Caledonia, an island chain in the southwest Pacific Ocean.

These geckos, as their name suggests, are banded with stripes of brown or black on a light backdrop of cream or yellow, which aids in their ability to blend in with their surroundings and fend off predators.
