Description

The Blue Striped Green Anole, sometimes known as the Turquoise Anole, is a Caribbean anole lizard (genus Anolis). It is popular among reptile aficionados because of its bright blue stripes on its green body.

The Blue Striped Green Anole is arboreal, which means it spends most of its time in trees and other high areas. They are small, reaching a maximum length of roughly 8 cm (3.1 inches), with males being somewhat larger than females. They are also well-known for their capacity to change color, frequently turning darker or brighter based on their mood and surroundings.

Blue Striped Green Anoles require a vertically oriented terrarium with plenty of branches and foliage to climb on, as well as a heat source and UVB illumination when kept in captivity. They are insectivores, meaning they eat small insects like crickets, fruit flies, and mealworms. Proper care is required to ensure the health and well-being of these colorful and distinctive lizards.
