Description

Great Anglehead Lizard for sale, which has a stunning appearance, can be found along forest streams in lowland and hill rainforest, as well as freshwater swamp forest.

This species lives an arboreal life, clinging to streamside plants and surrounding tree trunks. According to Grismer (2011), males can lurk up to 15 meters above ground, although females and juveniles prefer to reside much closer to the ground, occasionally resting on stones.

When agitated, these lizards may rush into the water and swim away, occasionally sinking and clinging to the stream bed to avoid a potential attack.

They, like most other agamids, prey on a variety of invertebrates, including insects, insect grubs, and some spiders.

Males of this species have well-developed head and body crests and are a vibrant bright green with blue sides ornamented with pale yellow dots. Females and youngsters are less vividly colored, but are patterned with brown stripes and other markings.

Southern Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia (including larger islands like as Penang and Tioman), Sumatra (including the Mentawai Islands), and Borneo are all home to the Great Anglehead Lizard. A distinct population has also been documented in southern Laos and Vietnam. The species is not found in Singapore.
