Calico Amazon Tree Boa are the least well-known tree boas. Amazons are extremely resilient and simple to take care of. But because Amazons are known to be violent and have a history of biting keepers, many beginners will avoid them. In my experience, Amazon Tree Boas are generally not aggressive; even the most hostile creatures will become tame with time.

Naturally, compared to animals born in captivity, wild animals have the worst reputation and are the most aggressive. Even wild creatures that have been caught, nevertheless, eventually become tame. More importantly, Amazons are easily bred in captivity, negating the need to buy boas that have been collected in the wild and will need to have their parasites removed.
